About Me

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! Here are a few things about me so that you and I can become a little closer.

I was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Florida. In 2014, I moved to Tennessee to attend Lipscomb University. In May of 2018, I graduated from Lipscomb with a B.A. degree in Theology and Ministry with a concentration of preaching and a B.S. degree in Psychology. I have done two internships at The Foundry church in Central Florida and one internship at Southeast Psych in Tennessee. I am a Minister at Cheap Hill Church of Christ where I teach the high school through young adults class.

On June 1st, 2019, I married Laurel! She is kind and thoughtful and I love getting to know God more through her. We both started Master programs a couple months after getting married. She is in Lipscomb’s Master of Family Therapy program and I am in Lipscomb’s Master of Divinity program.

I am definitely a dog person but Laurel is slowly warming me up to cats. My favorite fish is a lionfish. I don’t really have a favorite color but I tell people orange and blue. Skydiving is the next thing I want to check off my bucket list. I love exploring the outdoors.
